Another beautiful day ... Easter Monday ... a road trip ahead ... yeah! At first we went to Earltown - Sugar Moon Farm ... it was great to see this lovely place so 'alive'. I remember the last time we went here we were the only guests. Today it was packed. I love the sausages there - from the German butcher shop in Earltown. We followed the road to the ocean and went via River John to Cape John. Just beautiful there.
Going through "Seafoam" wasn't possible without listening to Seafoam by Thom Swift.
SEAFOAM
Have a listen and then buy the CD :o)))))))
I love the song and the fact that I was able to listening to it, while walking the coastline in Seafoam.
On the way to Pictou we stopped at the PEI ferry, which isn't working yet. The Hector Museum was closed too as expected and standing there you just can't imagine that they are going to close down the Heritage Quay including Hector. They can't do that, can they? I really hope they will find a solution!
We did some grocery shopping at Sobey's and went to KFC in Pictou.
Ok, being so close to Smith's Rock of course I wanted to see it. It wasn't a long drive and for those people, who have seen Ivy's Wall and who love doing these strange things ... it's highly recommended. By the way the Stonehame Resort looks pretty cool. We actually wanted to stay there on the way to the ECMAs, but they are only open on weekends during off-season and yes it's pretty expensive there. But lovely!!! Maybe one day ... ;o) We took the highway on the way back home.
