We went to town again to visit the Farmer's Market. Finally.
I think people are telling us for some years to go there. But we somehow never managed it.
It was very crowded, but that's what these markets are supposed to be, aren't they.
The fish looked good ... fruits bread and all kinds of jewelery and gifts ... everything was available.
We just went for the (warm) cinnamon roll as recommended by Heather and yes, that was actually good.
There we met Lyann, who invited us for lunch tomorrow - really nice!
There was some live music inside, but it wasn't really good and the halls were way to crowded to enjoy anything. Saturday before Easter ... ok .., sure.
Outside there were two bands playing and they were good.
The sun was shining and it was way warmer than yesterday. We walked the board walk again nad found a nice place in the sun ... watching people, listening to a cajon and guitar player. Great.
A nice mixture of musicians and good cappuccino. Everything is fine!
After some shopping we went back home.
We were invited for another turkey from our landloards at five, so there was not a lot of time left.
I love our apatment, but everything is looking even more beautiful from the first floor. What a lovely place to live!!!! The turkey was good again and I especially loved the homemade pumpkin pie! And I got the recipe! :o) I don't think to get canned pumpkin in Germany, but you can steam the pumpkin by yourself ... so we'll see!
As we didn't have enough we went back to the city, just for a drink at The Old Triangle. Of course George was there, too. John Ferguson was playing. Great day!
