April 9th 2010 --- rain, fog ... where is the sun?

Ok, no summer today. It was foggy, windy and rainy. It was even pouring down as we left the house.
Haven't seen that much rain in the last weeks.
We went to the "greentree street" to return our cans, before driving to the historic properties in Halifax, looking for a new necklace for me. We didn't find one, though. I had the best calamari rings in my life actually at Stayner's Warf. We headed to Bayers Lake then (no, not to a lake, it's a mall). After a short visit at Starbucks we wanted to go to see a movie. The cinema was so overcrowded (Friday night and rain) that we decided to postpone this idea ;o).
After a stop at Halifax Shopping Centre, no we didn't buy anything ... lol, we went to the Old Triangle for some scallops and listening to Roger Stone & John Ferguson.
A nice evening. Not cold, but lots of wind and huge waves as we arrived back home after midnight.
