The morning welcomed us with sunshine, so we went on the road early - 10am is early for us.

The frozen trees sparkled in the sun - amazing! Driving the Cabot Trail - slightly covered in snow was really nice. We actually found the snow we were looking for in the highlands. I was always looking for someone, who could shovel us the look-offs, but most of them were simply "closed". Due to the lack of traffic we were able to stop on the road, though.
We saw two moose and beautiful landscape everywhere! Just a great day.
By the way, I feel quite relieved that we found a place to stay for the seven weeks in Halifax, finally. It's the B&B in Waverley, we stayed the first two nights --- a nice little apartment in a house of an artist ... we felt very comfortable there --- beautiful at a lake with own deck and not too far from Halifax!
