March 30th 2010 --- Prospect

Today we made a trip to Terence Bay and Prospect ... ok after I got some fries, as I was starving and after I got a caramel macchiato, as ... as ... as I just love caramel macchiato ... :o))))
It was a grey, but a kinda warm day ... about 10°C.
And it was absolutely lovely there. Listening to Carmel Mikol - seemed to fit in this landscape and weather and mood very well. Lots of fishing boats, little islands, rocks, sea, lighthouses, colourful houses. Just lovely!
We decided to take the longer way back ... via Peggy's Cove ... with music by Breeze & Wilson now! :o)

In Halifax we ended in the Old Triangle as usual. There was an open session at the table next to us and we had a nice meal. Yummy!!!
The musicians seemed to take the slogan "I tune because I care" (I heard that a lot in the last weeks by the way - trendy or what?) very serious ... tuning and tuning and tuning ... lol.
There was a guitar, a banjo, a mandolin, a bodhran and a flute ... nice.
When they were playing then it was nice.
Nice day.
