March 28th 2010 --- CD release Carmel Mikol @ Company House

Another lazy morning - and yes ... still feeling poorly ... but the cold night out didn't seem to have affected the cold in a bad way ... phew!
A long Sunday breakfast ...

Some shopping before going to the Company House. Luckily they had something to eat there so that we didn't have to change venues to have something to eat before the show. I really liked the venue and I think it's a great place for an artist to play, too.
It was funny that they chose as "support act" music by Rose Cousins and Madison Violet ... I was always waiting for Graham and Toby to come on stage, as they had Rose Cousins last year and Madison Violet this year as "CD support act" ;o)))).
I really like the music of Carmel Mikol and I know the songs now, too.

It was pretty cool, that all people joining the CD release, got the album download for free (in a very professional way - love that!!!). I've just downloaded the album this morning and I'm listening now!!! The only thing which confused me was the postcard thing. ;o) Carmel sold postcards with her lyrics on and pictures taken on the road somewhere ... a lovely idea of course ... but it's very close to my idea for my exhibition I'm working on for some month now ... anyway. ;o))))
I'm still working on that by the way.
Norma MacDonald and Kim Wempe joined her on stage and it was a great evening for all.
