March 12th 2010 --- Curling and Sons Of Maxwell

We decided to swap cars in the morning. Off to the airport and that wasn't a problem at all.
Glad we did it ... the car is way better and the best: It doesn't smell like fish ;o) Hehe.
The weather was so nice and the new car even lifted our good mood, so we decided to do a spontaneous short trip to the ocean.

We simply went north to the Bay Of Fundy.
We really loved the spot "Burntcoat" ... absolutely lovely there!!!
Reminded me a lot on the Hopewell Rocks.
Going down the coastline to the highway and back to Waverley. Ok, that was a way longer trip than planned, but nice!

And I was looking for a new Bay Of Fundy "Wish Stone", as I actually gave mine away ... ;o) and I found a new one!

The next thing on the bill was Curling at the Metro Centre in Halifax. Ontario against Northern Ontario. I didn't really have any ideas about curling, Gabi watched it a lot at the Olympics last month, though.
It was really great to be there! After the game (Ontario won) we wanted to go to the Keith Patch (kind of an aftershow party).

We had to line-up as already 2000 people were inside. After about 20 minutes we got in and that was right in time as the Sons Of Maxwell started their concert. That was quite a variation to yesterdays performance of Dave Carroll. Yesterday there were 40 people in the audience and today we had 40 people in front of us at the line-up for getting in ... lol. The crowd enjoyed the concert. The sound wasn't really good and they only played a few SOM songs, but it was a great way to close the evening and it's good to see how different music of one artist can be. :o) Well done guys!
