Checking out things ... bank and shopping. Starting to Cole Harbour without a map. We found it, though.
Cole Harbour Heritage Farm's Rose and Kettle Tea Room
We arrived 30 minutes before the show and got a place in the second row, if you can talk about rows when there are only 40 people are in the house. The circle was hosted by Vince Morash.
Guests were Dave Carroll and Jimmie Inch. I'm really happy that Dave payed the Place That I Call Home - my favorite song by him I'd say.
He also performed United Breaks Guitars 3 and a song about his son Flynn. I really enjoyed all the songs of Jimmie, too. I even knew some of them from his CD.
It was good talking to both of them in the intermission! Knowing Dave for awhile (about 5 years now, eh?) and meeting Jimmie for the first time, but sending emails back and forth for some years, too. It's always good to meet people in person then.
A really enjoyable evening!
Great!
By the way, something for you to laugh ... have I told you that our new (small) car smells like fish or lobster or something like that? It seems that a fisherman rented the car before and maybe carried some fish in the trunk of the car?
Anyway ... I think we'll try to swap cars at the airport once again. There are some weeks left and I don't really get used to that smell.
