March 23rd 2010 --- Rain = museum + cinema

Uhhhh, what a rainy day ;o). This decision was easy ... off to the city and to the Maritime Museum. We somehow wanted to go there for some time, but never got the chance.

We spent about 1,5 hours there and I enjoyed it more than I thought in the beginning.

Really interesting. Gabi enjoyed some time in a deck chair of the Titanic.


Then we went to the cinema - we chose a large one at Bayers Lake. It was raining like crazy as we arrived. We knew which movie we wanted to see, but didn't know the name. Ah well ... that wasn't so easy then ... as we knew the name "Remember Me" we had to hurry, as it had started already. There was a line-up at the only cashier and the 20 "do-it-yourself" credit card stations were free ... anyway, we didn't have a credit card with us, as we never thought about paying with a credit card at a cinema, so we had to line-up. I got something to eat and drink and we arrived exactly by the time the movie started. Well done ... who needs all the adverts ;o).
Buying a poutine wasn't actually  the best idea ... poutine in the dark ... hehe.
We both liked the movie ... A romantic drama centered on two new lovers: Tyler, whose parents have split in the wake of his brother's suicide, and Ally, who lives each day to the fullest since witnessing her mother's murder.
