March 17th --- St.Paddy's Day

Gabi is still having a cold, so we stayed at home again ... having breakfast in the sun outside ... enjoying to have such a great deck, overlooking the lake.
What a beautiful day!!

In the afternoon we were off to the city --- Resolutes Club --- and as it was St. Paddy's day we could get in without security code ... lol.
It was great to see Kelly and Stephen ... we had some food and drinks ... music: Gillian Boucher ... great. After that we wanted to experience some "Halifax Paddy's Day feeling" --- looking for some green beer. But all the pubs in the city were packed, line-ups (in the cold ... people with hot pants ... lol) everywhere. We decided to cross the bridge and try Celtic Corner.
The pub was packed, but we got in easily. Jerry MacPhee was playing and we had one drink before going home again. Nice closing of the evening. Nice to meet you Michelle and Andi! Ahhh I forgot the hat thing. Sitting at the bar at the Revolutes Club a lady gave me the green Paddy's hat before leaving the club "I don't need it anymore - I'm going home now" ... from that I had that funny Paddy's hat ... people also asked me about the green "Oh Nova Scotia" shirt. ;o)
